Former Congresswoman and prominent “Make America Great Again” figure Marjorie Taylor Greene criticised former President Donald Trump for using vulgar language in reference to Iran.
Greene, a controversial figure within the Republican Party, said those in the Trump administration who identify as Christians “should get on their knees and apologise to God.”
She also addressed the recent closure of the Strait of Hormuz, attributing it to an “unprovoked war between the US and Israel on Iran.” Greene disputed claims that Iran was close to developing a nuclear weapon, pointing out that Israel possesses nuclear weapons.
“Israel has the ability to fight wars without America. It knows how to kill innocent civilians and children,” Greene said, adding that the goal of the actions in question is not Christian and would not be supported by Christians. She described the conduct as “a satanic act” rather than an effort to make America great.
