Miss Grand Thailand contestant Kamolwan Chanago captured attention this month after a minor on-stage mishap during her introduction.
As the 18-year-old walked onto the stage in a silvery gown with a feathered cover-up, her veneers unexpectedly fell into her mouth mid-speech.
Despite the moment’s embarrassment, Chanago quickly composed herself, discreetly removed the veneers while turning slightly from the audience, and continued down the runway with a confident smile.
Pageant organisers praised her for handling the incident “with professionalism and composure.”
A spokesperson for Miss Grand International told People magazine, “During her on-stage introduction, Kamolwan Chanago experienced a minor and unexpected incident in which her veneer teeth became dislodged.
We are proud of her confidence and stage presence throughout the competition.”
The incident quickly went viral, and Chanago later embraced the moment with humour during the finals on March 28.
She returned to the stage in a fiery red outfit, wearing her veneers and flashing a cheeky grin to the applauding crowd.
Although she did not win the crown, Ning Patama Jitsawat took first place.
Chanago earned widespread admiration for her elegance and poise under pressure, turning a potentially embarrassing moment into a memorable highlight.
