At least four people were killed, and two others injured in a firing incident triggered by a land dispute at the border of Bara and Peshawar districts, police and local sources said on Monday.

The injured were shifted to a hospital for medical treatment, where their condition was reported to be critical.

According to sources, all the deceased and injured belong to Peshawar.

Police said the incident stemmed from a land dispute. Law enforcement officials reached the scene and have launched an investigation.

The bodies were shifted to a hospital for post-mortem after completing legal formalities.
