Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will visit China on March 31 at the invitation of the Chinese foreign minister, a Foreign Office spokesperson said.
Pakistan and China share an all-weather strategic cooperative partnership and maintain close coordination and regular consultations on regional and international issues, the spokesperson said.
The visit will include in-depth discussions on bilateral and global issues of mutual interest.
Ishaq Dar’s decision to travel, despite medical advice to rest following a shoulder fracture, underscores the importance Pakistan attaches to its relations with China, the spokesperson added.
