Nadeem Mubarak, a TikToker known as Naniwala, has been cleared in a case related to the alleged promotion of an online gambling application, according to officials.
The case was registered in Lahore by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). An investigating officer has now written to the deputy director requesting the removal of Mubarak’s name from the Passport Control List (PCL).
According to the official correspondence, Mubarak had initially been nominated in the case over allegations of promoting a gambling app. His name was later placed on the PCL after he failed to cooperate with investigators.
However, following the grant of bail, the suspect joined the investigation. The inquiry subsequently found him not guilty of the charges.
The investigating officer stated there was no objection to removing his name from the PCL and formally requested approval from relevant authorities.
