Gold prices in Pakistan climbed on Saturday, mirroring a strong upward trend in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs4,800 to reach Rs472,062.
Similarly, the rate for 10 grams increased by Rs4,116, settling at Rs404,717, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The latest surge follows a brief dip on Friday, when gold per tola had fallen by Rs1,000 to close at Rs467,262.
Globally, gold prices jumped by $48 per ounce, reaching $4,493, including a $20 premium. The international rally continues to drive momentum in the domestic market.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs7,454 per tola, showing no movement despite the rise in gold.
