Light rain lashed several areas of Karachi on Thursday morning, including North Karachi, Surjani Town and Orangi.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, thundershowers are likely in the city later today, while more rain is expected on March 28 and 29.

The minimum temperature recorded in Karachi was 24°C, with humidity at 89%.

The maximum temperature is expected to range between 30°C and 32°C.

The weather is likely to remain cloudy, with strong winds, thunderstorms, and drizzle possible in some areas.

Stormy weather in KP, Punjab, and Balochistan

Cloudy and stormy conditions prevailed in several areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Balochistan, with heavy rain and hailstorms washing away standing crops and affecting traffic on major roads and highways.

Severe weather struck multiple districts of Balochistan, including Chaman, Qila Abdullah, Pishin, Kalat, and Nosh, causing significant damage.

Traffic was disrupted at several points on Chaman Highway N-25.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, clouds formed over districts such as Parachinar, Karak, South Waziristan, and Hangu.

Meanwhile, Karachi saw light rain in areas including North Karachi, Surjani Town, and Orangi, bringing temporary relief.

The Meteorological Department has forecasted the possibility of further rain and thundershowers later today.
