Gold prices witnessed a sharp increase in both local and international markets, with the price of gold in Pakistan rising by Rs15,200 per tola to reach Rs479,262.

According to market data, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs13,031, pushing it to Rs410,889.

In the international market, gold prices also saw a significant rise.

The price of the precious metal increased by $152 per ounce, reaching $4,565 per ounce.
