Partly cloudy weather is expected across most districts of Balochistan today, with rain and thundershowers likely in several areas, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.

The department said rain accompanied by strong winds and thundershowers is expected during the afternoon in districts including Kharan, Khuzdar, Kech, Panjgur, Awaran, Chagai, Noshki, Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Harnai, Kalat and Mastung.

Hailstorms are also expected at some places.

The maximum temperature recorded today was 20°C in Quetta, 21°C in Kalat, 12°C in Ziarat, 14°C in Zhob, 34°C in Sibi, 32°C in Turbat and Nokundi, 17°C in Chaman, and 30°C in coastal areas including Gwadar and Jiwani.
