Pakistan armed forces extend Eid greetings to nation

The Pakistan Armed Forces extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the nation, with senior military leadership conveying their best wishes to all Pakistanis on the occasion.

In their messages on behalf of the armed forces, Syed Asim Munir, Naveed Ashraf and Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu greeted the nation and highlighted the significance of the festival.

In a joint statement, the military leadership said Eid-ul-Fitr is not only a religious festival but also a reminder of important values such as unity, compassion and gratitude.

They said the true spirit of Eid for the armed forces lies in service, as personnel remain away from their homes and families while ensuring the country’s safety and peace.

The statement also paid tribute to the men and women serving on the country’s borders and working to maintain internal security.

It further acknowledged the sacrifices and resilience of their families, who continue to support them despite the absence of their loved ones.

The Pakistan Armed Forces expressed hope that the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr would bring peace, progress and prosperity to Pakistan and blessings for the entire Muslim Ummah.
