The Bohra community in Karachi is celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr today (Thursday) with religious devotion and traditional zeal.

Eid prayer congregations were held at many places in the city, with the largest gathering taking place at the Taheri Mosque in Saddar.

A large number of men, women, and children from the Bohra community attended the Eid prayers at Taheri Mosque.

Strict security arrangements were in place on the occasion, with heavy deployment from police and other law enforcement agencies at and around the Taheri mosque.

A strict security system was also enforced at all entry and exit points.

Following the Eid prayers, Ulema in their sermons highlighted the significance of Eid-ul-Fitr and different aspects of Islamic teachings.

Special prayers were also offered for the country’s security, peace, stability, and prosperity.

In addition to the main gathering, smaller Eid prayer congregations were held in areas such as Pan Mandi, Soldier Bazaar, Baloch Colony, and Haidery.
