The Pakistan Army has carried out effective strikes and destroyed oil storage facilities at Kandahar Airfield used by the Afghan Taliban and terrorist organisations, security sources said on Saturday.
The security forces have also released video footage of the strike carried out under Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq on the night of March 12 and 13.
The video footage of the strikes showed clear before-and-after visuals of the targeted sites.
Security officials said the oil storage sites were being used by the Taliban and other militant groups to support their operations.
Earlier, Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar provided an update on Operation Ghazab‑lil‑Haq, stating that Pakistani forces have so far killed 663 members of the Taliban and other militant factions, while over 887 militants have been injured during the operation.
Security sources emphasised that the Pakistan Army is conducting precise strikes against terrorist hideouts and military installations, aiming to eliminate threats posed by the Taliban and affiliated groups.
