The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has warned citizens about fake websites impersonating the authority and advised the public to use only NADRA’s official website to avoid fraud.

NADRA identified a fake visa portal operating under the link https://www.visa.nadragov.online.

A spokesperson for the authority clarified that the website has no connection with NADRA and may be used to collect users’ personal information and financial data.

Citizens have been advised not to access the fake website and to avoid sharing their personal details on such platforms.

NADRA said its official visa portal is available only at https://visa.nadra.gov.pk/.

The authority reminded citizens that all official NADRA services are provided through websites ending with the .gov.pk domain.

Meanwhile, the National Cyber Emergency Response Team also issued a fresh advisory for the public. It said nine fake NADRA-style websites were blocked in the past month for stealing citizens’ personal information.

The advisory urged citizens not to share personal data without verification and to avoid clicking on suspicious email or SMS links.

Both NADRA and the National CERT said they remain active against misleading cyber activities.
