An explosion near a police vehicle in Shadi Khel Bettani in Lakki Marwat on Friday killed six police personnel, including a Station House Officer (SHO), while one official was injured.

According to initial reports, the police team was targeted near the Rasool Khel check post.

The martyrs include SHO Sadr Azam, driver Shah Bahram, and three personnel of the ATSK unit.

The injured official, Insafuddin, was immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment.

Following the blast, law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
