The main Youme-e-Ali procession is set to start shortly after 12.30pm and, after proceeding along its designated routes, will conclude at Hussainia Iranian Imam Bargah in Kharadar.

The procession is expected to reach Numaish intersection by 1pm.

To facilitate the mourners, M.A. Jinnah Road from Guru Mandir to Tower has been closed to regular traffic, while Corridor Three from Saddar Dawakhana to Regal chowk is also restricted.

Citizens travelling from Hassan Square to Peoples Chowrangi are advised to take New M.A. Jinnah Road, Jail Flyover, Teen Hatti, and Nishtar Road.

Under the traffic plan, no movement will be allowed beyond the traffic signal at the Society Office on Shahrah-e-Quaideen, except for authorised vehicles with special passes entering the procession.

Vehicles carrying food for distribution will enter M.A. Jinnah Road from Tower.
