Government authorities on Monday enforced Section 144 in Dera Ismail Khan in light of the prevailing security situation.

The district administration has issued an order prohibiting all forms of movement and traffic in various areas from 6am to 6pm.

The authorities also ordered the closure of roads during these hours, including Dera Ismail Khan Tank Road from Tariq Shaheed to Bhogwal, Kalachi Hathala Road, and Potha Kot Isa Khan Road, among other link roads.

Additionally, Potha Hathala Bazaar will also remain closed from 6am to 6pm.

The order includes a complete ban on the movement of people, passengers, motorcycles, and cargo vehicles.

However, ambulances, fire brigade services, and law enforcement agencies are exempt from these restrictions.

In case of emergencies, limited movement will be allowed with the permission of the police or security forces.

The citizens have been advised to carry their identification documents and strictly follow the instructions of the security forces.
