Gold prices have recorded a significant decline in both local and international markets, making the precious metal relatively cheaper for buyers.
According to the latest figures, the price of 10 grams of gold has fallen by Rs8,573 to Rs462,930.
In the Karachi bullion market, the price per tola dropped by Rs10,000 to Rs539,962.
Traders said the downward trend in global prices has directly impacted the local market in recent days.
In the international market, gold prices declined by $100 to $5,172 per ounce.
Experts say fluctuations in the US dollar’s value and shifting investor sentiment at the global level continue to influence gold prices.
