The death toll from Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon has risen to 52, with 154 people injured, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
In a statement, the ministry said Israeli warplanes targeted a residential apartment in the southern suburb of Al-Jannah, resulting in civilian casualties.
Several buildings in Beirut and other المناطق were reduced to rubble following the bombardment.
Reports said Israeli warplanes carried out widespread airstrikes in the Bekaa region and the southern suburbs of Beirut, destroying dozens of buildings.
Lebanese Minister of Social Affairs Haneen Sayed said 171 shelters have been set up across the country and are currently housing around 29,000 displaced people.
