Gold prices registered a significant increase in both local and international markets on Monday, with per tola and 10-gram rates rising sharply.

According to market data, the price of gold per tola has increased by Rs13,300, reaching Rs563,862.

Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold has risen by Rs11,402 to Rs483,420.

In the international market, gold prices also recorded a notable jump.

The global rate increased by $133 per ounce, taking the price to $5,411 per ounce.

The surge in international prices has directly impacted local bullion markets, pushing domestic gold rates higher.
