Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday assured complete federal cooperation for the timely completion of development projects in Sindh during a meeting with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
According to a Prime Minister’s Office statement, the chief minister briefed the prime minister on the progress of ongoing development initiatives in the province.
The prime minister directed relevant federal ministries to maintain close coordination with the Sindh government to accelerate public welfare projects.
Shehbaz Sharif said the Pakistan Peoples Party was a key ally of the federal government, adding that national development could be further strengthened through cooperation among coalition partners. He stressed that harmony and consultation were vital for political stability and policy continuity.
The prime minister also appreciated Sindh’s leadership as an important partner in the coalition government, saying stronger centre-province coordination would reinforce democracy and improve public service delivery.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Ministers Azam Nazeer Tarar and Ahsan Iqbal, and Adviser to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah were also present.
