Gold prices climb in global and local market

Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Tuesday in line with their gain in the international market. In the local market, the gold price per tola reached Rs539,962 after a gain of Rs3,400 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs462,930 after it increased by Rs2,915, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Monday, the gold price per tola reached Rs536,562 after a gain of Rs3,000 during the day.

The international rate of gold was up by $34 to reach $5,172 per ounce (with a premium of $20).

Meanwhile, the price of silver increased by Rs192 to reach Rs9,286 per tola.
