Leaders of two major religious parties of Pakistan are expected to meet on Friday to discuss a joint position on the Gaza Peace Board, sources say.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, has invited Jamaat-e-Islami chief Hafiz Naeem for dinner, according to the sources. Senior leaders from Jamaat-e-Islami are also expected to attend the meeting.
The discussions are likely to focus on formulating a coordinated strategy regarding the Gaza Peace Board, the sources added. No official statements were immediately available from either party.
