Zimbabwe defeated Oman by eight wickets in their T20 World Cup encounter on Monday.

Oman was bowled out for 103 runs, with Blessing Muzarabani, Brad Evans, and Richard Ngarava claiming three wickets each.

Zimbabwe chased down the target comfortably, with Tadiwanashe Marumani scoring 21 runs, and Brendon Taylor 31 runs, while Brian Bennett scored 48 runs, and Sikandar Raza added five runs, reaching 104 in the 14th over.

Earlier in Group C, Scotland defeated Italy by 73 runs. Italy, chasing 208, were all out for 104.

Pakistan will play its second match against the United States on Tuesday.
