The authorities in Quetta on Saturday suspended mobile data services across the city for security reasons.
The indefinite suspension of mobile data and train operations has caused disruptions for residents and travellers, as security measures remain in effect across Quetta.
In addition, all train operations from Quetta, both within the province and to other parts of the country, have been temporarily halted.
According to railway officials, the suspension affects trains including the Jaffer Express, Bolan Mail, Chaman Passenger, and services on the Zahedan section.
The railway official said that passengers travelling on these trains have been informed that their tickets will be refunded.
Meanwhile, Jaffer Express, en route from Peshawar to Quetta, was stopped at Jacobabad Station in Sindh after failing to receive security clearance.
Over 400 passengers aboard the train were sent back, and many had to seek alternative transportation at higher costs.
