Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam scored 202 runs in 11 matches, has withdrawn from the remaining matches of the Big Bash League (BBL) as his performance was also criticised.
The Sydney Sixers have announced that, at the request of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Babar Azam will no longer participate in the remaining matches of the league and will join the Pakistan team camp.
A statement issued by the Sydney Sixers said that they are extremely grateful for Babar Azam’s services to the team.
The team appreciated his involvement in a short time and praised his work.
After Babar Azam’s return, the Sydney Sixers will be deprived of his services in the upcoming matches of the Big Bash League.
Earlier, on the social networking website X, the Sydney Sixers announced Babar Azam’s unavailability for the remaining matches.
