Gold prices declined in the local market on Thursday, as the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs600 to settle at Rs466,162.

while the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs515 to Rs399,658, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold decreased by Rs472 to Rs366,366, whereas silver prices also registered a decrease, with 24-karat silver per tola went down by Rs236 to stand at Rs8,125, and 10 grams of silver fell by Rs203 to Rs6,965.

In the international market, gold prices decreased by $6 to $4,438 per ounce, while silver by $2.36 to $76.50 per ounce, the association reported.
