Supermodel Imaan Hammam attended the intimate wedding of her best friend and fellow supermodel Cindy Bruna, who married former basketball star and actor Blondy Baruti in Paris.
Bruna, known for her work with Victoria’s Secret and leading fashion houses, tied the knot in a private ceremony with close friends and family.
She wore a custom gown by Lebanese designer Elie Saab.
Hammam, part of the bridal party, served as one of Bruna’s bridesmaids, wearing a floor-length maroon gown with a sleeveless design and matching elbow-length gloves, creating a coordinated and elegant look suitable for the formal occasion.
On Instagram, Hammam shared images from the celebration, writing: “Most special weekend celebrating my sis and Blondy.
The most beautiful bride … truly. My heart is so full. We danced, we laughed, and we loved every moment.”
Hammam’s gown featured clean lines and a streamlined silhouette, allowing the rich colour to take centre stage. She kept styling minimal, letting the dress and gloves make the statement.
The Dutch-Moroccan-Egyptian model, scouted at Amsterdam’s Centraal Station, debuted on the runway in 2013 for Jean Paul Gaultier.
Since then, she has walked for brands such as Burberry, Fendi, Prada, Bottega Veneta, Marc Jacobs, Moschino, Balenciaga, and Carolina Herrera, and appeared in campaigns for DKNY, Celine, Chanel, Versace, Givenchy, Giorgio Armani, and Tiffany & Co.
Earlier this year, Hammam launched Ayni, a platform celebrating Arab artistic expression, aiming to connect with roots, tell meaningful stories, and spotlight underrepresented voices.
She hopes Ayni grows beyond her personal vision into a larger community.
