Gold prices took a sharp tumble on Tuesday, both at home and abroad, with the yellow metal becoming noticeably cheaper for buyers in Pakistan.
According to market data, the price of gold dropped by Rs10,700 per tola, bringing it down to Rs459,462 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold also fell by Rs9,174 to Rs393,914.
On the international market, gold prices declined by $107 per ounce, settling at $4,371 per ounce.
Traders said the decrease reflects movements in global bullion markets, which directly impact domestic prices.
The sharp fall has brought temporary relief to buyers, though market volatility remains a concern.
