Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday announced that Pakistan will send selected students to Europe and China for training in artificial intelligence.
He announced while addressing a laptop distribution ceremony at the University of Haripur.
The prime minister said students from across the country, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, will be chosen strictly on merit.
He also announced the establishment of a Danish School in Haripur and the creation of a women’s campus at the University of Haripur.
Shehbaz Sharif said the country’s youth are the backbone of Pakistan’s development and prosperity, stressing that progress depends on hard work and national unity.
He paid tribute to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
