The government on Wednesday extended the closure of Pakistan’s airspace to India for an additional month, the Pakistan Airport Authority announced on Wednesday through a new NOTAM.
According to the NOTAM, all Indian-registered aircraft — including passenger planes, military jets, and private aircraft — will continue to be barred from flying through Pakistani airspace until January 23, 2026.
This marks the ninth extension of the airspace restriction, which was initially imposed on April 23, 2025.
The closure has been maintained under the approval of the federal government.
