A Lahore district court on Tuesday granted the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) additional time to file its report on a petition seeking the return of YouTuber Ducky Bhai’s seized digital accounts, devices, and bank cards.
During the hearing before Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo, the NCCIA counsel requested more time, stating that the case’s initial investigating officer is currently in jail and key information can only be obtained from him.
The court accepted the request and directed the agency to submit its report by December 12.
Ducky Bhai’s lawyer told the court that the petition pertains to the superdari (custody handover) of electronic devices and digital access held by the NCCIA.
These include mobile phones, social media accounts, credit cards, ATM cards, and other digital assets.
The counsel further argued that four credit cards and the corresponding amounts linked to them should also be returned to the YouTuber, as they remain in the agency’s possession.
The court will resume proceedings after the NCCIA submits its detailed report.
