Millie Bobby Brown reflects on emotional farewell to Eleven in ‘Stranger Things’

Millie Bobby Brown has bid an emotional goodbye to her role as Eleven in Stranger Things, a character she first played at age 12.

In an interview with Reuters, she called wrapping the final season “emotional” and “nostalgic.”

“The last day we were very present. It was a very sweet day,” she said, recalling time spent with co-stars who have become like family.

Fans have watched her grow from a child star into one of Hollywood’s most bankable young actors.

Brown teased future projects, saying the show has only fueled her interest in science fiction. Upcoming roles include The Electric State and the fantasy action film Damsel.

Before her breakout role, Brown nearly quit acting after failing to secure a part in Game of Thrones. She credits that moment for pushing her toward Eleven, a role that made her a household name.

Brown’s connection with fans continues as she becomes the brand ambassador for Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.

The venue will feature Stranger Things: The Experience, an interactive walk-through event from November 14, 2025, to February 15, 2026, giving guests the chance to discover the realm of the Upside Down.

With the finale approaching, fans have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world Brown constructed, guaranteeing her influence will resonate well beyond the screen
