22 Indian-backed militants killed in Dera Ismail Khan: ISPR

The security forces of Pakistan neutralised 22 militants belonging to the Indian-backed proxy group Fitna Al Khawarij in an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan District on November 26.

According to the official statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), “During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the Khawarij location and after an intense fire exchange, twenty-two Khawarij were sent to hell.”

The military’s media wing further stated that, “Sanitisation operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored Kharji found in the area.”

These counter-terrorism operations are being conducted under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam”, as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.

“Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,” the ISPR affirmed.
