The Pakistan-Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Joint Military Exercise Al Battar-II concluded on November 26 after eight days of intensive counterterrorism training, the military’s media affairs wing said on Wednesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the exercise, held from November 18-26 in Tabuk, brought together combat teams from Pakistan Army’s Special Services Group (SSG) and the KSA Army.
The closing ceremony was attended by the General Officer Commanding SSG as the chief guest from Pakistan, alongside senior military officials from Saudi Arabia.
Troops from both countries showcased exceptional professionalism, operational skill, and interoperability throughout the exercise.
Al Battar-II focused on counterterrorism operations, including urban warfare, countering improvised explosive devices, and refining tactical drills through integrated training.
The exercise further reinforced the historic and strategic military-to-military ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
All training objectives were successfully achieved, underscoring the commitment of both nations to regional security, peace, and collaborative defence preparedness.
