Pakistan won the Snooker Team World Cup for the second time after defeating Hong Kong in the final of the IBSF event held in Muscat.
In the best-of-five-frames final, the Pakistani duo of Asjad Iqbal and Muhammad Asif overcame Hong Kong’s Chau Hon Man and Nansen Wan with a 3-2 victory.
The national team had reached the final by defeating India in the semifinals, where Asjad Iqbal and Muhammad Asif produced a commanding 3-1 win against India’s Pankaj Advani and Brijesh Damani.
This victory marks another milestone for Pakistan in international snooker, showcasing the country’s growing dominance in the sport.
