The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) condoled the passing of former international umpire Khizar Hayat, who officiated in 34 Test matches and 57 ODIs during a distinguished career at the elite level.

Khizar Hayat also served the PCB as General Manager - Umpire and Match Referee, contributing significantly to the development and strengthening of officiating standards in Pakistan.

He served the game with integrity, composure and professionalism, earning respect from players, officials and colleagues around the world, a PCB statement said.

The PCB extended its heartfelt sympathies to Khizar Hayat’s family, friends and loved ones.
