Zimbabwe set Pakistan a target of 148 runs in the opening match of the T20 Tri-Nation Series in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
Pakistan won the toss and opted to field first, after which Zimbabwe’s openers provided a strong start with a 77-run stand.
Brian Bennett top-scored with 49, while Tadiwanashe Marumani contributed 30 runs.
Following the opening partnership, Pakistan’s bowlers struck back effectively.
Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza played a steady hand, scoring an unbeaten 34 to guide his side to 147 for 8 in the allotted overs.
For Pakistan, Mohammad Nawaz took two wickets, while Abrar Ahmed, Saim Ayub, and Shaheen Shah Afridi claimed one wicket each.
