PSL 10 exhibition match in Peshawar faces cancellation risk due to stadium issues

Welcome

The exhibition match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, scheduled for April 8 in Peshawar, is at risk of being canceled due to issues related to the newly built Arbab Niaz Stadium.

Concerns regarding the poor quality of the outfield, pitches, and insufficient facilities have raised doubts about the feasibility of the match between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators.

Sources showed that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is unhappy with the conditions at the stadium.

An inspection team from the PCB has filed a report detailing these issues.

Furthermore, it has been observed that essential items are missing from the dressing rooms.

The PCB has requested the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to accelerate the completion of necessary improvements to ensure the match can take place as planned.
