LHC denies PTI’s rally request at Minar-e-Pakistan

Welcome

The Lahore High Court has denied the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) request to hold a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan.

In its ruling, the court dismissed PTI’s application for the event planned for March 22 and advised the petitioner to contest the Deputy Commissioner’s earlier decision.

The Deputy Commissioner of Lahore had rejected the request for the rally, citing that PTI would not be permitted to hold an event at Minar-e-Pakistan.

It is important to note that PTI had sought permission from the Lahore High Court on March 10 for the rally.

The application was submitted by PTI leader Akmal Khan Bari, who named the Chief Secretary of Punjab, the Deputy Commissioner of Lahore, and other officials as respondents in the case.
