In a heartfelt gesture, Nisha Patil, a devoted fan of Sanjay Dutt, bequeathed her property valued at 72 Indian crore rupees to the actor before her passing.
The 62-year-old homemaker from Mumbai, who had been battling a terminal illness, instructed her bank to transfer all her assets to Dutt.
The news left Dutt overwhelmed, especially as he did not personally know Patil. Despite the generous offer, he decided not to accept the property.
His lawyer confirmed that Dutt intends to return the assets to Patil’s family, emphasising his gratitude for the gesture but clarifying his lack of personal connection with her.
