Govt college employee absconds with student exam fees

A government college employee has reportedly fled after misappropriating exam fees to the tune of Rs9 million collected from students.

The incident took place at Government College for Women, Nazimabad, where Superintendent Mohammad Nafees was responsible for handling financial transactions related to student examinations.

According to an FIR filed by the principal, the individual collected Rs9 million fees from students but failed to deposit the funds into the college’s account.

After the discrepancy was discovered, the college administration attempted to contact the employee, only to find that they had disappeared.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the matter and are working to recover the missing funds.

Students and their families have expressed concern over the situation, urging the college administration to ensure better oversight of financial transactions in the future.
