Emirati entrepreneur Ahmed Almazrouei, who adopted an EV in 2020, expressed his enthusiasm for the innovative technology and environmental benefits. “Before switching, I drove a petrol car, but the appeal of a cutting-edge, eco-friendly option drew me in.

Almazrouei emphasized the enjoyable driving experience of EVs, noting the smooth, quiet ride and instant torque.
He encouraged others to consider making the switch, highlighting the advancements in technology and the expanding charging infrastructure.
Soumitri Nanda, a regulatory affairs professional, switched to an EV in 2022 after realizing the substantial difference in emissions compared to conventional petrol cars.
She noted the growing global trend towards EV adoption as a motivating factor.
For Jafar Sherif T.A., a senior IT manager, the appeal of EVs lies in their technological advancements. “EVs represent the future of transportation, featuring innovations like regenerative braking and over-the-air software updates,” he explained.
Sherif appreciates the smooth ride and lower operating costs associated with electric driving.

Divya Vinod, who transitioned to an EV after a decade of driving petrol cars, cited the minimal service requirements as a key reason for her decision.
“The convenience and environmental benefits are clear; EVs produce no tailpipe emissions, helping improve air quality,” she noted.
