CCTV footage has emerged showing an attempted robbery that occurred near the residence of Inspector General (IG) Punjab Usman Anwar, situated in a private housing society in the Sundar area of Lahore, Punjab.
The footage revealed that the suspects gained entry to the house from the back. During the incident, the robbers locked the houseguard and two cooks in a room.
However, one of the cooks managed to raise an alarm when taken to another room, prompting the intruders to flee in haste.
Authorities have confirmed that investigations are underway and assured the public that the suspects will be traced soon.
The DIG Operations has announced that additional measures are being implemented to enhance security in the area.
