Qatar Airways has denied reports of office closures in Pakistan, stating that its operations there continue uninterrupted.
The airline issued a statement on X (formerly Twitter) confirming the ongoing operation of its Pakistan offices and flights. These denials follow recent media reports suggesting cost-cutting measures led to closures.
This clarification comes on the heels of the airline’s announcement of resuming flights to Damascus, Syria, after a 13-year hiatus, a move described as a significant step towards regional reconnection.
This positive development follows a record-breaking year for Qatar Airways, with a 39% increase in net profit to $1.67 billion and a 6% revenue increase to $22.3 billion.
The airline also transported over 40 million passengers with an 83% load factor.
