Severe fog disrupts flight operations across Pakistan

Dense fog in the northern regions of Pakistan has led to significant disruptions in flight operations, affecting numerous travelers.

On January 3, five flights were diverted to alternate airports, three were canceled, and 41 experienced delays due to the adverse weather conditions.

Passengers are urged to check updated schedules with their airlines as the weather continues to impact travel plans.

Notable cancellations included Pakistan International Airlines flights: Karachi to Lahore (PA 401) and Islamabad to Gilgit (PK 601 and PK 602).

Additionally, several flights were redirected, including a Kuwait City to Sialkot flight (PK 240) and Jeddah to Faisalabad flight (PK 764), both diverted to Lahore.
