A bomb attack targeted a convoy of Arab sheikhs hunting in Balochistan’s Kech district, resulting in the deaths of two security personnel and injuries to four others.
According to local Levies sources, the incident occurred near Dasht Khadan Zireen Bak, an area between Gwadar and Turbat, as the sheikhs were returning to their camp after a hunting trip.
While all the Arab sheikhsescaped unharmed, two security personnel escorting the party were killed and four others sustained injuries. The injured were immediately transported to Turbat for medical treatment.
Levies sources further explained that Arab sheikhs frequently visit various parts of Balochistan for short hunting trips, particularly for houbara bustard hunting, before returning to their home countries.
The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and an investigation is underway.
