Gold prices in Pakistan dropped on Friday, mirroring the fall in global rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola reached Rs271,300, reflecting a decrease of Rs2,000 in just one day.
For 10 grams of gold, the price was Rs232,596, down by Rs1,715, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.
This decline follows a drop of Rs2,600 in gold prices per tola on Thursday.
In the international market, gold also saw a decrease on Friday, with the rate reported at $2,601 per ounce (plus a premium of $20), down $20 from the previous day.
In contrast, silver rates remained steady at Rs3,350 per tola.
