Residents of Malakand district and nearby areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa experienced strong earthquake tremors, causing widespread panic.
The National Seismic Monitoring Centre in Islamabad reported that the earthquake, measuring 3.5 on the Richter Scale and originating from a depth of 133 kilometers, had its epicenter in the Hindu Kush mountain range, Afghanistan.
In response to the shaking, many citizens fled their homes, anxious about possible aftershocks.
Fortunately, initial reports indicate that there have been no casualties or significant damage reported at this time.
