Four new polio cases have been confirmed in Pakistan, bringing the total number of cases for the year to 63.

According to details released, one case each was confirmed in Dera Ismail Khan and Tank districts, while Sindh province reported one case each in Jacobabad and Sukkur.

Three of the individuals affected are women, with one child also testing positive for the poliovirus.
