TV host Shahzeb Khanzada is embarking on a new career as a drama writer, with indications that his written drama would be presented soon.
Director Wajahat Hussain Syed shared photos with Khanzada on Instagram, hinting at the upcoming release of the drama penned by the TV host. Instead of a detailed caption, he opted for hashtags, including “Bismillah,” suggesting that the drama’s premiere is imminent.
The hashtags also featured “Case Number 9” along with the names of the production house and producers, indicating that he would be collaborating with them in his new role as a director, writer, and producer.
There are rumours that Khanzada might also play a role in his upcoming drama titled “Case Number 9.” Various entertainment social media pages have claimed that the crime thriller has been written by him, featuring prominent actors like Faisal Qureshi and Saba Qamar in leading roles.

While the exact broadcast date for the drama remains unclear, it is expected to be aired by mid-2025. This will mark Khanzada’s debut as a writer, though he is already a well-known figure on news TV for his programme Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath.
Khanzada is regarded as one of the top current affairs TV hosts in Pakistan.
So far, the news show host has not made any personal statements regarding his new career as a drama writer, nor has Faisal Qureshi or Saba Qamar commented on their casting in the upcoming drama.
